In my experience as HR manager, I noticed that many candidates tend to miss out on the simple things that they could do to stand out in the eyes of the recruiter.

These could be as simple as creating rapport with the recruiter to highlighting certain things in their resume. What many fail to realise is that the interview process begins much before meeting the recruiter. It begins when the recruiter first sees your resume or profile on social media.
