About this gig
Send me a rough sketch, a photo, or a list of parts and I'll turn it into a SolidWorks design you can actually build.
I work from a mechatronics engineering background, so I design around how the part gets made: wall thickness for printing, clearance for CNC, snap-fits that hold, screw holes that line up with your PCB.
What I design:
- Electronics enclosures: PCB mounting, battery space, ports, vents
- Mechanical parts and assemblies: brackets, hinges, clips, housings
- Parts ready for 3D printing, CNC or prototyping
- 2D technical drawings with dimensions and tolerances
You get STEP, STL and native SolidWorks files. PDF drawings come with the larger packages.
Tell me what the part does and what it has to fit. If a dimension is missing I'll ask instead of guessing, which saves us both a revision.
I don't do animation. Engineering CAD only, so your project gets my full attention.

FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
Your dimensions (or a dimensioned sketch), what the part has to do, and the components it must fit. Photos, a reference product or an old drawing all help. Send those and I'll confirm scope before you order.
Can you work from a rough hand sketch?
Yes. A hand sketch with the key dimensions is enough. I'll model it, send you a preview to check, then finish the drawings. If a critical dimension is missing I'll ask first rather than guess.
What files will I receive, and how many revisions?
STEP, STL and native SolidWorks files, plus PDF 2D drawings on the Enclosure and Production packages. Revisions are 1 to 3 depending on package; extra rounds are a small add-on.
Why does pricing start at $85?
Because you're paying for engineering, not a hobby model. It covers checking your dimensions, designing to real tolerances, and clear drawings your supplier can read. It also keeps my calendar free for projects I can do properly.
