Want to give your writing a boost? Looking for substantive suggestions on how to help your text shine? Send your work to me! I offer two kinds of editing services: developmental editing and line editing.
For developmental editing, I will carefully read your book, short story, or article and provide inline commentary with suggestions for rewrites along with a detailed, constructive critique addressing structure, voice, reader engagement, language use, and anything else I find that may help you develop your work to its potential. This service includes inline commentary and a separate editorial report (but not changes to the document).
For line editing, l will directly modify your text to assist with style, flow, and clarity of your work. Where appropriate, I'll add content such as transitions or limited amounts of exposition. (I'll also address grammatical issues as I find them.)
I have extensive experience with both fiction and nonfiction of all genres. I will give exceptional work before the timeline with multiple revisions on it. I look forward to hearing from you!

What's your editing process like?
1. I skim the first few pages to get a feel for tone and structure. 2. I perform a copyedit, including consistency, voice, and flow, as well as ensuring engaging content audiences will be excited to read. 3. I reread the content to ensure accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Do you offer writing or rewriting services?
I do offer rewriting and writing for specific topics. Please contact me if you'd like to know more!
Which genres do you edit?
All kinds! Non-fiction - such as biographies, guides, and more. Fiction - action, drama, romance, erotica, fantasy, science fiction, young adult, children's books.
Will you change my writing style?
No. I enhance clarity and flow while maintaining your tone, voice, and creative intent.
What is line editing?
This is where I make actual edits to the text, working to improve style, flow, and clarity. I'll add transitional language as needed (within reason), break up or rearrange paragraphs to improve flow, etc. I'll also correct grammar errors as I find them, but this isn't a proofreading service.
What kind of editing does this gig include?
