Do you have a story in the drawer that you have always dreamed of publishing? Are you looking for someone who can help you design children's book illustrations?
I'm a professional children's picture book illustrator. My illustrations are vibrant and colorful, but I also love creating digital illustrations that recall the softness of watercolor and pencil, and I would be happy to bring your story to life!
As each book is different, each order will be a custom order.

MILESTONES I USUALLY USE:
1 - CHARACTER DESIGN: I will make sketches of the characters in the book
2 - STORYBOARD: in this phase, I will work on the sketches of the complete book.
3 - FINAL ARTWORKS: from the sketches we approved together, I will move on to the final illustrations
COPYRIGHT: you have all copyright image and commercial use, but you must credit me like this: Illustrated by Erica Bortoloso. I will be using the images for my portfolio.

Can I describe my characters or scenes and how I would like them to look?
Sure! But please note that this is not a character design service, and that the characters will be very simple, so we can work on the scenes over and over until the composition is right.
Do you also do the editing?
No, I usually deliver the illustrations to you without the text. In the case of a double page illustration, the space that will be dedicated to the text is taken into account in the storyboard phase.
How much time will it take to finish my Illustrations?
Depending on my workload during this period, it can take anywhere from 1 to 5 months to finish the illustrations! I use Fiverr's milestones to manage deliveries, so you'll know precisely when to expect final sketches, revisions, and illustrations.
Can you draw it in a specific style, or copy someone else’s style?
I have my own style, please take a look at the portfolio up there, and you'll have a more precise idea of my work :)
