About this gig
Welcome to DeSonic Mixing & Mastering. I'm a mixing and mastering engineer who is dedicated to elevating your music. Have your music mixed by my experienced ears, and have your audio pass through some of the world's most sought after analog hardware (see below). I will deliver a professional mix & master that will be commercially competitive. All genres welcome.
Services I provide:
- Mixing & Mastering with analog outboard, and industry standard digital plugins
- Re-amping DI guitar tracks through my collection of tube amps (incl. the rare Friedman Naked & 65amps Royal Albert).
You will receive:
- 24-bit AIFF or WAV files of the mix and master
- 320kbps mp3 file of the master
What I will need from you:
- Raw, unprocessed stems/tracks in AIFF or WAV format (24bit, 44.1 kHz, 48kHz or 96kHz)
- The bpm of your song

Hi, I'm Eric and I am passionate about music and music production. For the past 25 years, I've had the privilege and pleasure of working with a variety of bands, solo artists and companies such as, Warner Bros., Castle Records, DSM Producers, Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Blend, Asberry Lane, Pale Hollow, William Pettaway Jr., Yvette Cooper, Fury, and Lost Horizon. FAQ
Should I send files with effects/processing?
No, please send dry, unprocessed (no plugins) stems/tracks for each instrumental/element in your song- Drums (all of the microphones...kick, snare, toms, overheads, rooms, etc.), Guitars/Bass (DI and amped), each Synth, Lead Vocal (including any double tracks), Backup Vocals/Harmonies, etc.
What file types do you accept?
For the best results, you should send your individual files as 48kHz 24bit or 96kHz 24bit AIFF or WAV. All tracks should be properly labeled and time aligned to the start.
Do you do editing?
Yes, I will make minor edits. However, all major edits and arranging should be done before you send me your tracks. That will ensure that I have maximum time to deliver a professional and amazing sounding mix and master.
Do you tune vocals?
Yes, I can tune your lead vocal track with Melodyne. It is included with the "Premium" package. I generally leave the decision of whether or not to tune a vocal up to the artist.
