About this gig
I'm Erick, a guitarist, composer, and producer with 15+ years of experience writing and recording modern metal. My band Red Helen performed at Wacken Open Air (2014) and won Best Album, Best Core Band, and Best Music Video at the South African Metal Music Awards. A track I produced won Silver at the International Singer Songwriter Awards, and several songs I co-wrote have charted on the DRT Global Radio Charts.

How do I know if my song idea counts as simple, medium, or complex?
It depends on complexity and structure: • Basic: Simple, groove-focused, repetitive tracks. • Standard: Modern rock/metal with solid transitions. • Premium: Technical prog/djent with complex arrangements. Unsure? DM me your reference tracks first!
What kind of files do I get with this gig? Does it include all the stems?
You get all wet & dry audio files in .wav format (including guitar DIs, individual drum tracks, etc.) + MIDI (if applicable). I also send detailed tabs/sheet music for all instruments (PDFs & Guitar Pro file). Let me know if you have any specific stem requirements.
Is the final song mixed and mastered?
No. I do basic mixes for creative reference purposes, but the tracks are not fully mixed & mastered. I can mix and master the track for an additional fee. Let me know if you want me to add this to the order.
How do you write and record? Do you use AI or other software?
Zero AI. Everything is 100% human-made. I record real guitars and hand-program premium MIDI plugins for drums, bass, and synths (no loops). Every single note, velocity hit, and articulation is meticulously edited by me to ensure your track sounds completely massive, organic, and unique.
Can you write my song on Guitar Pro?
Every order includes a detailed Guitar Pro tab. However, if you want me to make a full song using Guitar Pro ONLY (no DAW recording), I can do that too—and at a lower cost. DM me for more details.
What counts as a revision?
A revision is an adjustment to one or two details if you feel I've missed something, not a complete rewrite ("out of scope"). However, you are more than welcome to request out-of-scope revisions for an extra price and delivery time.
Are there limitations to revisions?
Your free revisions don't include adjustments based on NEW information. The order is based on the info you provide before and during the gig requirements phase. If you want to change something about the info you've given me, please make sure I have it at least a week before the delivery date.
Who owns the rights to the song, and do I need to credit you?
All tracks are 100% ghostwritten. You own full commercial copyright to use or alter the song however you like with zero permission needed. No credit is required, but if you do want to credit me or discuss song splits for a labeled release, shoot me a DM!
Do you do cover songs?
Yes, I'm happy to cover a song - just contact me first and we can discuss the details. I can also re-record your existing track, AI song or Guitar Pro tab.
