What is the difference between this gig and your developer gigs?
|This gig covers everything you can do in Salesforce Setup without writing code. The developer gigs cover everything you cannot. Most requests start here and stay here. When they do not, I tell you before you place the order
How do I know if I need an administrator or a developer?
If your request involves changing page layouts, permissions, validation rules, or installing an AppExchange package, you need an administrator. If it involves writing Apex, building a custom component, or connecting to an external API, you need a developer. If you are not sure, message me first.
Do you handle automations on this gig?
Simple automations that accompany configuration work, I handle on this gig. Complex multi-step automations, Process Builder migrations, or Flow consolidation projects belong on the Workflow Automation gig because they deserve special scope.
Can you work in my production org, or do you need a sandbox?
I can work in either, but I recommend starting in a sandbox for any change that affects more than one user. For simple tasks like permission set assignments, production is fine with a dedicated administrator user account. I confirm the right environment at scoping time before any work begins.
Will my team need training after the configuration is done?
The Premium tier includes training materials for your team as part of the delivery. The Basic and Standard tiers include written documentation of every change made, which most teams find sufficient. If you want live training delivered by me, message me before ordering.
