I will write an advanced google sheets formula
About this Gig
I am an expert of decades. I solve problems that many other developers have said are "impossible."
Share your file URL with me. Once I have access, I will confirm the goal before you pay. Follow with a separate email with your name and the spreadsheet title. If you're not sure how to do that, email me and I'll walk you through it.
The spreadsheet must contain a realistic representation of the real-world data set. It's easiest to make a copy of the original spreadsheet, trim it down to a few rows of data, and replace any sensitive information with unique "dummy" data.
The spreadsheet must also contain the manually-entered expected results you want a formula to return (even if just for a few rows).
Side notes should be included, giving a concise explanation of the goal and explaining how you arrived at the expected results.
I will ask any further clarifying questions if needed, within reason.
I will provide the single-formula solution in a copy of your "expected results" sheet or in a range next to those "expected results."
Changes to the data, layout, conditions or expected return constitute a new project.
Let's get this solved.

FAQ
What do you mean by a 'complex' formula?
If you can't solve it, it's complex. Some formulas may look simple in the end, but require complex knowledge, logic or creativity. Other formulas may be long. For the sake of clarity, formulas up to 300 non-space characters in length will included in the posted price (assessed before I begin).
How do I know if a solution will require only one formula?
Good question. I'll need to see it. But you'd be surprised what can be accomplished with a single formula. For instance, the equivalent of an entire Pivot Table can often be returned with a single, expertly-written formula.
What if I need to change the specifications after you start?
That would constitute a new problem. I will finish writing the formula as it was presented to me. Then we can work something out for changes or additional specs afterward.
What counts as an included "tweak" to a formula?
A "tweak" means that after testing the formula and within 24 hours of completion, you find a case that was included in the original "expected results" but which the formula does not address. This is rare (I've been at this a long time) and should require only a few minutes to make any such change.
What if it turns out you can't write the formula I need?
I've been at this for decades. I've never said I could develop a solution and then failed to produce that solution as expected. (BTW, I've also never missed a deadline to which I've agreed.)
