About this Gig
Google Sheets has its own set of specific rules regarding the use of regular expressions (REGEX). REGEX rules or components that may apply in another environment may not work or work the same in Google Sheets.
I am an expert of decades. I solve problems that many other developers have said are "impossible."
Share your file URL with me. Once I have access, I will confirm the goal before you pay. Follow with a separate email with your name and the spreadsheet title. If you're not sure how to do that, email me and I'll walk you through it.
The spreadsheet must contain a realistic representation of the real-world data set that the REGEX will apply to.
The spreadsheet must also contain the manually-entered expected results you want a formula to be returning (even if just for a few rows).
Be clear about your goal with the REGEX (e.g., extract what? replace what? remove what? etc.).
I will ask any further clarifying questions if needed, within reason.

What does this gig include?
I will write a regular expression that matches your specific criteria. This gig does not include writing an entire FORMULA around that expression. If you need an entire formula written, see my "Write An Advanced Google Formula" gig.
What if the REGEX doesn't wind up working with some of my real data?
It will be up to you to include in your shared spreadsheet a data set you feel is complete enough to represent the scope of your real-world cases. I will test my REGEX on that data set only, to be sure it does what you've asked. I can only write around the data you provide to me, so be thorough.
Will you explain the REGEX as well as writing it?
