What if the local permit reviewer has comments or questions about the drawings?
Please forward me a snapshot of the comments and I will do my best to address them, then re-send the drawings back to you, at no cost.
What file format will the finished drawings be delivered?
Default is industry standard PDF file format as a single multi-page file and also separate sheet PDF files. I can also provide DWG and JPEG sheet files, if requested, at no cost.
How much communication is expected when the project starts?
I will communicate basic design questions at the start of the project. Questions will relate to plan proportions, stair layout, material finishes, railing types, etc. Screenshots will be provided before the drawings are finalized and completed.
Is an architectural seal required for deck or porch drawings?
For most jurisdictions an architectural seal is not required since this is considered minor and/or addition construction. Sealed drawings are not included.
