FAQ
Which devices can you design, and how many boards per order?
Each order covers one board for one device: a temperature logger, asset tracker, vibration sensor or pet tag. For more than one, add extras or place a separate order for each.
Which files will I receive?
You get Gerber files, a BOM, a STEP model of the board and a PDF of the schematic. The Altium project files come with Standard and Premium. Higher packages add assembly files and the enclosure, as listed in the package descriptions.
Can you design from just an idea, or do I need a schematic?
Both work. With the Basic package, send your schematic and I’ll lay out the board. With Standard or Premium, send a functional brief with your key parts (microcontroller, sensors, radio, battery), and I’ll draw the schematic and the layout.
Do you write firmware or tune antennas?
No. This gig covers the schematic, layout, manufacturing files and the enclosure fit. Firmware, antenna tuning, EMC or regulatory testing and board bring-up are not included. Message me first if you need them.
Can you design cellular or RF-heavy boards?
Message me before ordering. Simple boards with a microcontroller, sensors and a ready-made wireless module are standard. For cellular, RF-heavy or high-speed designs, I’ll review your requirements and confirm what’s possible and the price.
