Can I see a sample edit before ordering?
Absolutely! I provide a free sample edit of up to 1,000 words of your manuscript. This allows you to see my editing style and the depth of my feedback and ensures we are a good fit before you commit to the full project.
What's the difference between your line editing and copy editing?
Copy editing focuses on technical correctness: fixing grammar, spelling, punctuation, and internal consistency (like character eye color). Line editing is more artistic, focusing on the flow, style, and power of your prose, enhancing rhythm, word choice, and clarity.
Do you offer developmental editing or rewriting?
I do provide in-depth developmental editing (plot, structure, and character arcs). However, in my premium package, I include a high-level manuscript critique that notes any major plot holes or pacing issues I encounter. I refine your writing; I do not rewrite
How do you handle communication and confidentiality?
I believe in clear communication. We can message directly on Fiverr throughout the process. Your manuscript and all its contents are kept strictly confidential and will never be shared or used for any purpose other than your edit.
What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround depends on the package and manuscript length. A standard proofread may take 2-3 days, while a full copy and line edit take longer for a quality result. I will always provide a clear delivery date before you order. Rush delivery may be available for an extra fee.
