What file formats do you need to get started?
For the best results, I prefer STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), or Parasolid (.x_t) files. These allow me to access the true geometry of your product. However, I can also work with STL, OBJ, or FBX files if you only have mesh data. If you don't have a 3D model yet, I can build one for you.
Can you handle complex assemblies with many moving parts?
Yes! I specialize in mechanical logic. Whether it is a gearbox with dozens of interlocking gears or a large-scale industrial production line, I can animate complex movements, parent-child relationships, and constraints to ensure the motion is physically accurate.
Is my intellectual property (IP) and data secure?
Absolutely. I understand that industrial designs are often proprietary and highly confidential. I am happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you share any files. Once the project is complete, I can delete your raw CAD data from my system upon request.
Can you show internal processes like airflow, liquid, or heat?
Yes. I use X-ray (transparent) views and particle simulations to visualize non-solid elements. This is perfect for showing how air moves through a HVAC system, how fluids flow through valves, or how heat dissipates from electrical components.
What if my CAD file is too "heavy" or messy?
Engineering files are often very dense. My process includes CAD Optimization, where I clean up the geometry, remove unnecessary internal bolts or hidden parts that won't be seen, and "re-topologize" the model. This ensures the final animation is smooth and renders with perfect lighting.
