Which AI model do you use?
Primarily Claude (Anthropic). Specifically claude-sonnet-4-6 for complex reasoning and drafting, claude-haiku for high-volume classification and extraction tasks where cost matters. I can also build with OpenAI GPT-4 if you have a preference or existing API access.
Who pays for the AI API usage?
You do. API costs are billed directly to your Anthropic or OpenAI account, not included in my fee. For most small business workflows the monthly API cost is under $20. I will give you an estimate based on your expected volume before we start.
What if the AI gives a wrong answer?
AI outputs are probabilistic. They will occasionally be wrong. That is why every build includes schema validation (the output is checked for required fields before any action runs), fallback behavior (if validation fails, the workflow routes to an error handler, not to your downstream systems), and
Can you guarantee the AI will always output what I expect?
No. And anyone who says otherwise is not being honest with you. What I can guarantee is that the workflow handles unexpected outputs gracefully, notifies you when something is off, and never silently fails or takes irreversible action on a bad AI output.
Do I need my own API key?
Yes. You will need an Anthropic or OpenAI account with a funded API key. Creating one takes about 10 minutes. I will walk you through it if needed.
