FAQ
How should I prepare and send my files?
Please export all your individual tracks as uncompressed WAV or FLAC files (>16-bit preferred). Make sure every track starts exactly at 0:00 so they line up perfectly when I import them. Send them as a compressed file. If it's a mastering job, send the mix as a compressed file as well. That's it!
Do you mix and master multiple tracks at once?
Absolutely. Whether it's a 3-track EP or a full-length beat tape, just shoot me a DM. I handle bulk orders and full projects through custom offers to make sure you get the best workflow and pricing.
Can I send a reference track?
Yes, absolutely! Sending a commercial song (or a YouTube/Spotify link) that has the "vibe" or loudness you are aiming for is highly recommended. It helps me understand exactly what you want your final product to sound like. I'd prefer it as well!
What exactly counts as a revision?
A revision includes minor technical tweaks to the mix, such as "turn the snare up a bit," "make the vocals slightly brighter," or "push the master louder." Adding completely new vocal recordings or changing the beat after the mix has started does not count as a revision and may require an extra gig.
Do you provide the DAW project file?
Yes! I use FL Studio for mixing, and Reaper for mastering. For your reference, third-party plugins are used, so it may not open on your computer without errors.
What file formats will I receive in the final delivery?
You will receive a high-quality, streaming-ready WAV file (24-bit / 44.1kHz or 48kHz) and a high-quality 320kbps MP3 file. If you require a different bit depth or sample rate, let me know!
Do you use vocal pitch correction (Auto-Tune)?
I do, but heavy manual vocal editing work that requires Melodyne etc. is part of editing, and is not provided in my service. I can do minor adjustments here and there, but my mission is mixing and mastering; editing should be done before.
Do you use analog gear?
No, I don't. I believe analog gear isn't necessary today and is often just a sales tactic (especially on Fiverr gigs). I do have a cassette player, though—let me know beforehand if you want your track printed to tape! DM me for details.
