I will create a custom travel itinerary
About this Gig
My idea of a great itinerary centers on personalization and making the most of the destination or destinations. Of course, the journey can also be the destination, so if you are moving between various destinations, how you get there can be very important as well. My intent is to plan a travel itinerary for you that best meets your needs and is based on your parameters. You get the best itinerary when I know these parameters clearly.
Do you have any preferences for your trip? Perhaps you are a foodie, a hiker, or want family- or couples-focused activities. If I have that information, I can tailor the itinerary to meet your needs and interests.
Do you know where you want to go, and maybe for example a restaurant or a part of a city you want to make sure to visit, or possibly have a meeting at a specific time or day of your visit? I can certainly factor that into the itinerary, as well as nearby attractions and activities. Tell me what you are looking for, and I can adjust the itinerary to fit it in.

FAQ
What format will the itinerary be when I receive it?
I can provide the itinerary in a document format (e.g. Word or PDF) or an interactive format like Wanderlog. If you need reservation documents as well, I can provide those as PDFs or another format.
What format will the map be when I receive it?
I can provide the map in several Google Maps formats, and I can also provide a document with all the names and addresses of locations in the itinerary (especially useful if you are on a road trip or if you need to call a rideshare or taxi). We can discuss if you prefer another format.
How will I know what to visit and when?
When creating an itinerary, I always consider route optimization, when places will be open (I will provide on the itinerary the operating/business hours of all restaurants and other locations as appropriate), and factor in any meetings, reservations, etc. with time to rest.
What do you consider to be a destination?
I see different overall locations (i.e. cities and towns or other general geographic areas) to be "destinations," rather than various restaurants, museums, and other attractions (unless the attraction itself is a destination, like a large amusement park).
