I will illustrate a consistent character series for your book or brand

About this gig
Your hero has to be the same hero on page one and on page twenty. That is where most illustration work falls apart, and it is the only thing this gig is built around.
We design your character once and lock an approved reference frame. Every scene after that is held against it, so the face, the age, the build and the small things like freckles, glasses or a favourite jacket do not drift from page to page.
I work with AI generation and careful hand assembly. The generator gives raw frames. The character design, the casting, the scene, the composition and the final selection are mine, and nothing goes out that still looks generated.
You get PNG files at the exact size your printer or platform asks for, with free space left in frame for your text.
Watercolour and wax crayon is my home style: warm, hand made, built for early readers and older kids.
Not sure yet? Start with Basic. One illustration, your hero designed and approved. If it fits, the series continues from the same reference.
Books over 20 pages are quoted separately. Send me the manuscript and I will price it.

Please inform the freelancer of any preferences or concerns regarding the use of AI tools in the completion and/or delivery of your order.

FAQ
Do you draw by hand or use AI?
Both, and I will not pretend otherwise. The frames come out of an AI generator. The character design, the reference frame, the scene, the composition and the selection are my work, and I rebuild what the generator gets wrong. You are buying a series that holds together, not raw output.
Can you keep more than one character consistent?
Yes. One main character is included in every package, a second one comes with Premium or as an extra. Each character gets its own approved reference frame.
I already have a character. Can you use mine?
Yes. Send a drawing, a photo or an earlier illustration and I will build the reference frame from it. Say up front if the look has to match an existing book.
What files do I get?
PNG at high screen resolution as standard, and print resolution at the size your printer asks for from Standard up. Tell me the trim size and I will deliver to it, with free space in frame for your text.
Can you illustrate my whole picture book?
Yes, but not through these packages. Books over 20 pages are quoted separately. Send the manuscript and the page count and I will price it.
Who owns the illustrations?
You do, for commercial use including print and sale of the book. I keep the right to show the work in my portfolio, and I will skip that if your project is under wraps, just tell me.
