What file do I need to send you to get started?
Send your manuscript as a Word doc (.doc/.docx) or Google Doc. PDF works if it's text-based — message me first to confirm. Make sure your text is fully edited before sending; I handle layout, not proofreading.
My book has images, tables, and charts — can you handle that?
Yes, but image-heavy books need more work than plain text. Message me before ordering with a rough image count so I can confirm the right package. Complex layouts are covered under Standard or Premium.
Will the eBook actually look right on Kindle phones and tablets?
Yes. I deliver a reflowable EPUB tested across Kindle devices and the Kindle app on iOS and Android. Your chapters, fonts, and clickable TOC render correctly on every screen size your readers use.
What's your turnaround time for KDP paperback formatting?
Most projects deliver in 24–72 hours. Simple manuscripts (fiction, memoirs, under 60k words) land faster; image-heavy or complex layouts take longer. I'll give you an honest estimate once I see your file.
What if KDP rejects the file after you deliver it?
If KDP flags a technical issue caused by my formatting — margins, font embedding, bleed, trim size — I fix it free. I can't cover rejections from content violations, metadata you entered, or edits made to the file after delivery.
How many revisions do I get, and what counts as a revision?
Revisions cover formatting changes — spacing, fonts, margins, TOC, layout style. They don't cover new content or full rewrites after work starts. Basic includes essential rounds; Standard and Premium cover broader adjustments.
Do you format for IngramSpark and Lulu, or only KDP?
KDP is the core service. IngramSpark and Lulu use different bleed, margin, and spine specs — Standard and Premium packages include print-ready PDFs built to those requirements too. Tell me your target platform before we start.
Will I get the source file so I can make edits later myself?
Yes. I deliver the formatted source file alongside your final PDF and EPUB so you're not locked in. If you update a chapter later, you have a working file. Full editable source files are included in the Premium package.
Can you format both the Kindle eBook and paperback together?
Yes — and it's the most efficient route. Ebook and paperback are separate files with different specs; margins, bleed, and layout logic all differ. Standard and Premium packages cover both formats in one order.
My manuscript was already formatted but KDP keeps rejecting it — can you fix it?
Yes. Send me the file and the error message — margin flags, font embedding, bleed, or TOC issues. I fix the root cause, not just the surface. Message me before ordering so I can scope the work correctly.
