I use Google Docs for all of my editing. It's a free, easy-to-use piece of software that makes it simple to help clients across a large spectrum of software tools. Everyone has their favourite tool—I find Google Docs to be a good middle ground. If you have questions about this, please reach out.

My aim is to help you tell YOUR story. I pride myself on my ability to transform a narrative while maintaining the voice of the author. Preserving your voice and the integrity of your story is the number one priority. I'll simply help you make the story clearer and more potent.

I'll read your story and clean any remaining punctuation and grammar issues. Proofreading is traditionally the last step in the editing process—it is expected that your work has already been properly copyedited.

Developmental edits focus on the larger story elements. I'll evaluate: - Tone - Voice - Plot/Story Problem - Characters Includes section rewriting, structural edits, and a highly-detailed assessment.

Copyediting is a deep clean of your punctuation and grammar. I'll look at your region and your intended market, bringing your manuscript into alignment with the style guide that is most relevant to you.

Line Editing is a deep line-by-line edit and is most potent after a developmental edit has been done. I'll edit the lines for tone, flow, and clarity, seeking to clean any rough/awkward wording to help the story read as smoothly as possible.

I'd love to offer an additional revision, but doing so would grow the prices quite a bit as it'd nearly double the work per order. The editor I worked with didn't include revisions either. However, after an order, we're available for any questions, ensuring next steps are clear and notes understood.
