Can you build the kiosk hardware too, or only the software?
Both. I can write software for hardware you already have, or pick the screen, computer, printer and readers and put the full unit together. Message me your requirements for a quote.
Which hardware and operating systems do you work with?
Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, industrial PCs and x86 mini PCs, running embedded Linux, Ubuntu, Android or Windows kiosk mode.
Can customers exit the app or get into the system?
No. The kiosk boots straight into your app. Desktop, keyboard shortcuts and system menus are locked. Only an admin with a PIN or key can get out.
What happens after a power cut or crash?
The kiosk restarts on its own and reopens your app. A watchdog restarts the app if it freezes, so the kiosk keeps running without staff.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The kiosk keeps working offline and syncs orders, logs and data when the connection comes back.
Can I update content or software remotely?
Yes. I set up remote updates and monitoring, so you can change menus, prices and content or push new versions without going to the kiosk.
