FAQ
Which chips and boards do you work with?
ESP32, ESP32 S3 and C3, STM32, nRF52 and Raspberry Pi. If your product uses another chip, send me the part number and I will confirm before we start.
Which cloud platforms do you support?
AWS IoT Core, ThingsBoard, Blynk, Home Assistant, Node RED, or your own server over MQTT, HTTPS or WebSocket. I can recommend the right option for your product and budget.
How do users connect the device to their WiFi?
I build WiFi provisioning through a BLE app, SmartConfig or a captive portal web page, so users set it up from their phone without touching the code.
Can I update the firmware after the devices are sold?
Yes. I build secure over the air updates with version checks and automatic rollback if an update fails, so devices in the field stay safe.
Is the connection secure?
Yes. Communication uses TLS encryption, credentials are stored encrypted, and secure boot and flash encryption are available on supported chips.
Do I need to send you hardware?
Usually not. My office has the most common development boards and sensors. For custom boards, sending one unit lets me test the final firmware on your exact hardware.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send it before sharing your project files and I will sign it.
Do I get the source code?
Yes. You receive full source code, build instructions and documentation. You own all of it.
