In my current role at a nationwide retail chain, I build supply-chain apps: stock workflows with phone-camera and Sunmi handheld barcode scanners, role-based mobile menus and web operations dashboards. Before that, at a truck-hiring logistics platform, I built trip history and improved live GPS tracking in the shipper and owner apps. Nearly 5 years in React Native, with apps shipped to Google Play and the App Store.

FAQ
Can you add scanning or tracking to my existing app?
Yes, that is the Basic package: barcode or QR scanning and GPS location tracking added to an app built with React Native or Expo. Before ordering, message me your stack and a short screen recording so I can confirm the modules fit cleanly.
Do you support Sunmi or other Android handheld scanners?
Yes. I have built scanning flows for both phone cameras and Sunmi handheld scanners. For other handheld models, we check the device's scan mode or vendor SDK together before work starts.
Will location tracking work while the app is in the background?
Yes, within platform rules. iOS and Android both require the user's permission and limit how often background updates arrive to save battery. We agree the update interval during scoping, and you test it on real devices.
What happens when a driver or staff member loses signal?
Key screens cache their data, so drivers and staff can still view their jobs or stock while offline. If they must also scan or update records offline and sync later, tell me before ordering and I'll scope that as a custom offer.
Which backend and database do you use?
Node.js with NestJS or Express, PostgreSQL and Prisma. The API runs on your own server or cloud account, so you control the data, and you get setup notes for it. If you already have a backend, I can build against your API instead.
Does the Standard package include a web admin dashboard?
No. Standard is one mobile app plus its API. Jobs or orders can come from your existing system through the API. If your team needs a web dashboard to assign jobs and watch drivers on a map, choose Premium.
Will you publish the app to Google Play and the App Store?
Submission is included in Premium and available as an extra. You create the developer accounts, so you own the listings. Approval is the store's decision, so I can't guarantee it, but I prepare the builds and listing details to their guidelines.
How do milestones work on the Premium package?
We split the build into three parts, for example API and login, then the main mobile flow, then the admin dashboard and store release. You review and test each part before the next one starts.
