FAQ
What's the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading catches surface-level errors spelling, grammar, punctuation, and typos after your writing is finalized. Editing goes deeper, improving sentence structure, clarity, flow, and consistency. Let me know your manuscript's stage, and I'll recommend the right service.
What file formats do you accept?
I work with Word (.docx), Google Docs, and PDF files. If you have a different format, message me before ordering, and I'll confirm I can open it.
How long will my manuscript take?
Turnaround depends on word count and package, but as a general guide: short documents (under 5,000 words) take 1–2 days, while full-length manuscripts may take 5–10 days. Exact timing is shown in each package, and I'll always confirm before starting.
Will you change my writing style or voice?
No, my goal is to polish your work while keeping your unique voice intact. I fix errors and improve clarity without rewriting your story or altering your tone, unless you specifically request heavier edits.
Do you provide a sample edit before i order?
Yes, I'm happy to edit a short sample (around 200–300 words) so you can see my editing style before committing to the full project. Just send me an excerpt via message.
What if I'm not satisfied with the edit?
Your satisfaction matters to me. If something doesn't meet expectations, I offer revisions within the scope of the original order to make sure the final result works for you.
