Do you work exclusively in KiCad for this gig?
Yes. This gig is specifically intended for projects that require complete and editable KiCad source files.
Which KiCad version will you use?
I can work with the agreed KiCad version. Please specify your preferred version before the project begins to avoid compatibility issues.
Can you design a circuit from an idea?
Yes. I can develop the circuit and schematic from technical specifications. Circuit development is quoted separately according to complexity.
Can you work from my existing schematic?
Yes. Please provide the editable schematic or a clear PDF together with the board outline, connector locations and electrical requirements.
Can you create custom symbols and footprints?
Yes. I can create KiCad symbols, footprints and suitable 3D-model assignments for components that are not available in the standard libraries.
Can you convert an Altium or Eagle project to KiCad?
Yes, depending on the source files and project complexity. Conversion, verification and correction should be reviewed and quoted separately.
Which manufacturing files will I receive?
Depending on the package, I can provide Gerber, drill, BOM, pick-and-place, assembly drawings, PDF schematic, STEP model and the complete KiCad source project.
What is included in a revision?
A revision covers corrections and reasonable adjustments within the agreed project scope. New features, changed dimensions, additional interfaces or major circuit changes require a scope update.
Do you provide firmware?
Firmware is not automatically included. It must be discussed and quoted separately
Can you support manufacturing?
Yes. I can respond to PCB manufacturer feedback and update production files when this support is included in the order.
