1. Can you make it cheaper?
May be. If your budget is limited, send me the design details before ordering. I can often suggest a simpler design approach, reduce unnecessary features, or divide the project into stages to keep the cost lower.
2. Will I face any problems when 3D printing the model or after printing?
I design every model with 3D printing in mind, checking wall thickness, clearances, fit, overhangs and tolerances. For the best result, share your printer and material details, as final print quality also depends on printer calibration and slicer settings.
3. Can you design from a sketch, photo or idea?
Yes. A clear sketch, reference image or description is enough to start discussing the project. Accurate dimensions are strongly recommended when the model must fit an existing object.
4. Will the STL be ready for 3D printing?
I will prepare the geometry for 3D printing based on the information you provide. Final print results also depend on your printer, material, nozzle, slicer settings and tolerances.
5. Which file formats can you provide?
Common deliverables include STL, STEP, 3MF, OBJ and DXF. SolidWorks source files such as SLDPRT can also be provided when included in the package or ordered as an extra.
6. Can you modify or repair my existing STL or CAD file?
Yes, in many cases. Please send the file before ordering so I can check whether the changes are practical and quote the correct scope.
7. Do you provide physical 3D printing or shipping?
This gig is for digital CAD and 3D-printable files. Physical printing and shipping are not included unless we agree on a separate service.
8. What counts as a revision?
A revision is a reasonable adjustment to the agreed design, such as a dimension or feature change. A completely new concept or major change in function is treated as additional work.
9. Can you design moving parts or assemblies?
Yes. Small assemblies, hinges, clips, pivots and simple mechanisms can be designed. Please contact me before ordering so the correct package and tolerances can be confirmed.
10. Can you make a technical drawing or exploded view?
Yes. Technical drawings, exploded views and rendered presentation views are available in the Premium package or as extras where applicable.
