1. Do I need to have solar already?
No – this is for new solar + battery installations. If you already have solar and just need a battery add‑on, please see my first gig (battery sizing).
2. Can you design for net metering?
Yes – I size the array to offset your bill and ensure inverter compatibility with your utility’s net metering rules.
3. Do you include permits?
This gig includes an SLD and basic electrical diagram, which many AHJs accept. For full permit drawing sets, message me for a custom quote.
4. What if my roof is complicated (shading, multiple planes)?
I can handle it – just send me roof photos or a sketch. For complex shading, I use PVsyst or Helioscope (additional fee may apply).
5. Can you design for a small business (restaurant, office, salon)?
Absolutely. The process is the same – just send me your monthly electric bills.
6. What inverter brands do you work with?
Tesla Powerwall+, SolarEdge Home Hub, Enphase IQ Battery, SMA, Growatt, Deye, LuxPower – any hybrid inverter. If you have a preference, tell me.
7. How accurate is your load analysis?
Very accurate if you provide 12 months of utility bills. If you only provide an appliance list, I add a 20% safety margin for real‑world usage.
