What exactly is Amazon Build International Listings (BIL)?
It's Amazon's self-service tool that lets you manage offers in a source marketplace (like the US) and automatically create and synchronize those listings in target marketplaces. It keeps pricing, offers, and inventory connected across stores from one location.
Will BIL break my existing variations or ranking?
It can - if configured carelessly. Improper ASIN linking is the most common cause of orphaned child SKUs and collapsed parent-child structures. I configure linking to protect your existing variation integrity and ranking.
Does BIL translate my listings automatically?
For offers matched to an existing detail page, no translation is needed - your offer pairs with the local page. For new detail pages, Amazon auto-translates in many cases. However, BIL copies A+ Content across but does not translate it, so that requires separate review.
How does pricing work across marketplaces?
BIL syncs prices from your source marketplace using pricing rules. I build those rules to account for marketplace fees, taxes/VAT, and currency fluctuation so your margin is protected - not just a flat currency conversion.
What is NARF and do I need it?
North America Remote Fulfillment lets you sell to Canada and Mexico using your existing US FBA inventory - no separate inventory shipment required. It's the fastest, lowest-friction way to test the Canadian market before committing dedicated stock.
Which marketplaces can I expand to?
BIL works within regions - North America (US, CA, MX), Europe (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES and the broader Pan-EU network), and others. Registering on Amazon.de unlocks the full European marketplace network through the unified EU account.
Do you handle translation and copywriting?
Setup, linking, and SEO alignment guidance are included. Full professional copywriting and certified translation are not included in these packages but can be arranged as an add-on or referral.
Do you manage PPC for the new marketplaces?
PPC is not included in BIL setup packages. BIL gets your listings live, correctly structured, and price-synced. PPC is a separate engagement I can quote separately.
My prices keep going out of sync. Can you fix that?
Yes. Sync breaks are usually resolved by excluding and re-including the affected SKU to reactivate synchronization, plus correcting the underlying pricing rule. This is covered in the monitoring retainer.
What do you need from me to start?
Your source marketplace, your target stores, and Seller Central access (or a screen-share session). I'll diagnose your account structure first and confirm the rollout plan before making any changes.
