Do I need to provide references or can you design from scratch?
Both work. If you have visual references, style inspirations, or character descriptions — share them and I'll build from there. If you're starting from zero, just describe your character in words (personality, age, appearance, what they wear) and I'll create something original for you.
Are your illustrations 100% hand-drawn or AI-generated?
100% hand-drawn. Every character is built from scratch by me, no AI tools, no clip art, no templates. My delivered work is visible in my reviews if you'd like to see real examples before ordering.
Will my characters look consistent if I order multiple times?
Yes. I keep style references from every project, so if you return for more characters or pages later, everything will match. This is especially important for series authors, consistency across books is something I take seriously.
Can you illustrate characters of any ethnicity, skin tone, or background?
Absolutely. Inclusive and diverse character design is one of my specialties. I've illustrated characters across all ethnicities, ages, body types, and abilities — including for books covering sensitive topics like body awareness, emotions, and mental health.
What file formats will I receive, and are they print-ready?
All packages include high-resolution PNG and JPG files at 300 DPI, fully print-ready for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and standard print services. Working files (PSD) are available as an add-on or included in the Spread package.
How many revisions do I get, and what counts as a revision?
Each package includes a set number of revisions. A revision means changes to an existing design — pose adjustments, color changes, expression tweaks. A completely new character direction after approval may require a new order. Additional revisions are available as an add-on at $10 each.
Can I use the illustrations commercially — for publishing, selling, or merchandise?
Yes. A commercial use license is included in every package at no extra cost. You can publish your book anywhere — print, digital, Amazon KDP, educational platforms — without additional fees.
Do I need to message you before placing an order?
Yes, please. A quick message first helps me understand your story, characters, and vision before we begin — which means fewer revisions and a better result for you. Orders placed without prior discussion may experience delays while we align on details.
