Need a PCB layout for an ESC or motor controller?
I create KiCad layouts from an agreed schematic, with attention to power paths, switching loops, current sensing, component placement, and manufacturing constraints.
My portfolio includes multilayer drone ESC layouts, compact power stages, and layout revisions replacing microvias with standard through-hole vias.
Depending on scope, the work includes:
- Power-stage placement and routing
- Gate-driver and decoupling placement
- Kelvin routing for current sensing
- Copper pours and thermal-via planning
- Stackup and fabrication-rule setup
- DRC review and documented exceptions
Deliverables include the KiCad layout, Gerber and drill files, BOM and placement exports, 3D preview, and layout notes.
Packages cover layout from a supplied schematic. New circuit development, firmware, simulation, fabrication, and bench testing require a separate scope.
Current capability must be validated under agreed operating and cooling conditions.

What do you need to get started?

Can you design from an idea?
Yes, for an agreed circuit-design scope. Please message me first so we can define the functions, constraints, and deliverables.
Will I receive editable files?
Yes. Design packages include the KiCad source files for the work delivered. Review-only packages provide a report and annotations.
What counts as a revision?
A revision is one consolidated set of changes within the agreed requirements. New functions, a different architecture, or changed specifications require an updated quote.
Are firmware and physical boards included?
The listed packages cover design files. Firmware, fabrication, assembly, shipping, and physical testing are separate unless explicitly included in a custom offer.
Will the board work on the first revision?
I check the design against the agreed requirements, but prototype testing is still necessary. ERC and DRC checks do not replace functional validation.
Can you prepare files for my manufacturer?
Yes. Please identify the manufacturer and fabrication options before layout begins.
