I will backtest your trading strategy

A strategy that performs well in a backtest does not necessarily perform well in live markets. This service provides an independent and rigorous assessment of whether your strategy has a genuine edge before any capital is committed.

Based on the rules you provide, I implement the strategy exactly as specified and test it on several years of historical data, including realistic commissions, spreads and slippage. Its robustness is then evaluated on data not used during development, through out-of-sample, walk-forward and Monte Carlo analysis.

The deliverable is a report covering profit factor, maximum drawdown, Sharpe ratio, win rate and equity curves, together with an objective conclusion on the viability of the strategy.

I work with Python, Pine Script, MT4/MT5 and NinjaTrader across futures, forex, cryptocurrencies and equities. My professional background includes trading systems and high-frequency trading for banking institutions.
