About this Gig
I'm Frank, and I will proofread translations/works from English to Chinese (Simplified/Traditional).
While some translators would diligently translate for you, I, as a veteran proofreader, will offer to carry the 'tone' of the translation. Having the right style of translation does take time. I have been working as a professional translator for 14+ years and have meticulously proofread among other things, such as:

Yes, I am a native Chinese speaker with proficient English skills. I was majoring in linguistics and translation studies in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. You may be assured that I am a professional proofreader (since 2008) and I was officially certified in 2014.
What are your clients like in your previous proofreading experience?
My previous clients include multinational companies(Vogue, PwC, etc), organizations (UN, Animal Shelters), educational institutes (New York University, Peking University, Cincinnati Country Day School, etc) and individuals.
Do you have other certifications or awards in translation?
Yes. I took part in prestigious and competitive translation competitions held in China and won 2nd place and 3rd place several times. They are honors to translators here in China. These experiences helped me to have many translation and proofreading job opportunities.
