What platforms do you work with for e-commerce?
My primary platform is Shopify (including Shopify Plus for enterprise). I also work with WooCommerce (WordPress), Webflow E-Commerce, and can integrate with platforms like Framer for custom solutions. Shopify is recommended for 90% of e-commerce businesses due to its reliability and ease of use
Do I need to have a Shopify account before ordering?
Yes and no - as a Shopify Partner, I can create a development store for our project that can be fully transferred to you upon delivery. Or you can start with their 14-day free trial. If you're new to Shopify, I recommend the development store route so you don't have to worry about the set-up.
How long does it take to create my website?
The duration varies depending on the package and complexity. For a focused design, I usually plan at least 3-4 weeks, while more comprehensive projects (Extended or Holistic Design) can take 3-6 weeks or longer. We'll always approach this transparently from the beginning.
How many revisions are included?
Basic Package: 3 revision rounds Standard Package: 5 revision rounds Premium Package: 7+ revision rounds (essentially unlimited within reason) A "revision round" means you provide feedback on multiple elements at once, and I implement all changes together for maximum efficiency.
Can you revise or update existing websites?
Yes, I offer services to revise and update existing websites to bring them up to date in terms of design and functionality. However, experience shows that a fresh start can occasionally be more efficient.
Can you help with product photography?
I offer product photo optimization as an add-on on a case by case basis. This includes editing, background removal, color correction, and web optimization of your existing photos.
Do you provide training on how to manage my Shopify store?
Yes! All packages include a brief tutorial document covering how to add products, process orders, manage inventory, and update content. Premium tiers also include a 1:1 live start-off call.
Can you integrate email marketing tools?
Yes! I can integrate Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Omnisend, or other email marketing platforms. Basic integration (signup forms) is included in Standard and Premium packages. Complete email automation setup is available as an add-on on a case by case basis.
What about shipping setup?
I configure your shipping zones, rates, and policies based on your requirements. You'll need to decide your shipping strategy (flat rate, calculated rates, free shipping thresholds, etc.), and I'll implement it in your Shopify settings.
Can you migrate my existing store to Shopify?
Yes! Store migration from WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, or other platforms can be done. This involves transferring products, customer data, and redesigning for Shopify's structure. Migration complexity varies—please message me with your current platform and store size for a custom quote.
