FAQ
What do I need to send you?
Your Shopify Orders export (CSV). For profit, I also need a simple list of your product costs, and I send you a template for it. Higher packages also use Products and Inventory exports.
Do you need access to my Shopify store?
No. I work only from exported files, so you never share a login or password. It is not a live connection, you paste in a new export whenever you want to update it.
How do you calculate profit per order?
Order revenue minus product costs, discounts and refunds, plus fees in higher packages. The result depends on the costs you give me. It is a reporting tool, not tax or accounting advice.
How do I update the dashboard later?
Paste your new export into the data sheet and everything refreshes by itself. Every package includes a written update guide, and Standard adds a video guide.
Which Excel versions does it work in?
Excel 2016 and newer, and Microsoft 365. It also opens in Google Sheets, but slicers and some formatting work best in Excel.
Can you handle German stores, euros and umlauts?
Yes. I recommend Shopify’s CSV for Excel export, which handles special characters like ä, ö and ü. I set euro formats and German or English labels.
Can I get help or extra features after delivery?
