Structural calculations that fail to meet code, or beams and foundations sized by guesswork, cause rejected submissions, rework and safety risk.
I provide structural calculations and design to Eurocode (DIN EN, with the German National Annex on request) for residential and small commercial buildings.
SCOPE
- Foundation design: strip, pad and raft footings (EC7)
- Beam, column and slab sizing (EC2 concrete, EC3 steel, EC5 timber)
- Load calculations: dead, live, wind and snow (EC1)
- Load-bearing wall removal and opening checks
- Structural analysis report with member utilization and safety factors

PROCESS
Send architectural plans, dimensions, soil data and applicable load assumptions. I confirm scope, then deliver the report with all assumptions stated.

What do you need to start?
Architectural plans or sketches, dimensions, location, soil data if available, and the intended use of the building.
Which file formats do you deliver?
PDF calculation report, Excel calculation sheets, and DWG or PDF plans. Software-specific files (RFEM, SCIA, Revit) are available on request.
Can you check a load-bearing wall removal?
Yes. I size the replacement beam and its supports from the drawings and information you provide. I do not carry out site inspections.
Do you provide an engineering stamp?
No. Documents are calculation support. Submission may require review by a locally authorized engineer, such as an authorized Tragwerksplaner or Prüfingenieur, depending on your state and building class.
Can I receive the report in German?
Yes. Reports can be delivered in German or English.
