Is there any additional costs for this trading bot?
Yes, To send your strategy as an alert to the tradingbot you need a paid plan of tradingview. As of 01/01/2024, this is $14.95 / mo at a minimum for the cheapest plan.
Do I need to disclose my trading strategy for this trading bot?
If I am not building your strategy into TradingView, there is no need to disclose your trading strategy to me.
Where does this bot need to be running?
This will run on your local machine, meaning you will start the bot when you want to trade and it will no longer be running when your computer is shut down.
Can this trading bot run in the cloud?
Yes, we can make this run in the cloud; however, this will need to be selected as an extra service. This is built into AWS and will cost you ~$30 / month.
Will I need ongoing support for this trading bot?
No, that is the beauty. If you do not have a custom package with me, there is no need for any ongoing maintenance as you will control what is sent for order through TradingView.
Which Package Should I Buy?
Basic is for out-of-the-box stock/futures trading. Standard supports options, forex, and crypto. Premium is fully custom—built to your exact needs. Message me your strategy if you're unsure which is best.
Do I Already Need a Strategy?
Yes, if you do not already have a TradingView Strategy developed, this will be an extra service that will be added. You will then need to be able to explain your entry criteria, exit criteria, risk management, etc. This will then be built into TradingView to be automated.
Which brokers are supported?
I currently support Interactive Brokers (IBKR), ThinkorSwim (Schwab), and TastyTrade. Let me know if you use another broker as I am always looking to add.
