I will analyze your building project to identify all the necessary electrical materials for an accurate electrical cost estimation.
My electrical material takeoff spreadsheet will include the following key items:
- Conduits: The length of conduits required for your project, the conduit sizes, & total conduits cost inclusive of the installation labor cost.
- Cabling/wiring: The required wire gauges, cable tray & cable lengths, and junction box counts.
- Light fixtures/Luminaires: A detailed list of the required luminaires including their types & sizes, and the light fixtures cost inclusive of the installation labor cost.
- Switches & receptacles: The count of light switches, power receptacles/power outlets, & their accompanying wiring requirements.
- Panel boards: Number of panels, the panel sizes, the protective devices e.g. MCBs, fuses, etc.
- Others: Communications and fire alarm systems.

Yes, the cost estimates include the labor costs in all major electrical sections covered such as conduits, wires, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, & panel boards. Therefore, you will get a proper cost estimate covering the procurement of materials and associated installation costs.
How do you handle project changes after the initial electrical cost estimate?
In case you make any updates to your project, I will adjust the cost estimate appropriately. I perform the changes without charging you extra fees, with the revision counts depending on the pricing tier - basic, standard, premium. Revision beyond limits incur extra charges.
Can I request a specific type of material or brand preference in the material takeoff?
Absolutely. If you have a material choice e.g. plastic panels or metal conduits or certain brand preferences, please reach out in the messages with the specifics. I will include them in the material takeoff & electrical cost estimates, as long as they align with the electrical building codes.
Can I trust the accuracy of your electrical cost estimations for materials and labor?
Yes you can. I use electrical material takeoff software to create a material takeoff list based on your electrical plans then perform a manual counter checking of the same to ensure a high accuracy of the electrical cost estimates. In case of questions, contact me for prompt responses.
Do your material takeoffs and electrical cost estimates comply with local standards and codes?

What if my project requires exceptions to the standard cable sizes or types?
That’s okay. I will alter the material takeoff list accordingly. Say perhaps you need a thicker cable than the designed size - I’ll change this in the material takeoff. However, I will not include the material takeoff if the required exception is unsafe e.g., thinner wire diameter.
