FAQ
Can you enhance any video?
Most videos can be enhanced, but it greatly depends on the source material. Some will turn out better than others. Contact me first and I'll be happy to take a look at your video and let you know before you order. I can provide a free demo first if required.
Can you enhance / color grade my video?
The "enhance colors" option means basic white balance adjustment and adjustment of levels, contrast, colors etc. For $5 this will be applied to the whole clip. Request a custom offer if you require each clip to be individually graded.
Can you slow down any video?
Most videos can be slowed down. The best result will be made from high-quality video. Please contact me first before ordering a slowed down video, and I'll send you a free demo so you can see what it will look like before placing an order.
Can you upscale any video?
I can upscale any video, but the best result is made from videos of decent quality. Many old interlaced videos like family videos can usually be enhanced to full HD quality, but don't expect 4k or 8K clarity from very old, low quality and low resolution footage below 480p
What I need isn't listed. Can you do it?
If you need anything else, like tracking, bluring of faces, subtitles, etc, then just send me a message and we'll work something out.
What software do you use?
I use the latest version of Topaz video (formerly known as Topaz video AI) and Davinci resolve studio, which are both industry standard. Topaz Video is widely considered the very best tool available for upscaling and AI enhancement today.
Why is restoration of old videos more expensive?
Restoration of old video requires heavy generative AI, which is extremely GPU and time intensive, and can often take several days to render out a 1,5 hour video clip. Better quality video with higher resolution can make due with lighter AI models that are much faster (hours compared to days).
I have some old VHS or Mini DV footage. Can it be restored?
Yes, in most cases even low resolution footage can be significantly enhanced using generative AI (diffusion AI models). Contact me first and I'll send you a short demo so you can see what it would look like.
My video is blury and out of focus. Can this be fixed?
Out of focus video can usually be significantly enhanced, but it depends on how out of focus it is. Sometimes it can get perfectly crisp and clear, other times just significantly improved. Contact me first and I'll send you a free demo so you can see what I can do.
