Kurrentschrift is a type of German handwriting which was in use until the mid-20th century. For many readers today, it is very hard to read or even completely illegible, especially for those not proficient in German. Reading texts written in kurrent can prove valuable for many kinds of historical research, including genealogical research.

I will transcribe kurrent and its simplified variety Sütterlin, non-kurrent German handwriting as well as printed fraktur for you. On request, I will include a translation into English.
