Do I need to buy any extra software?
Usually not. I build with what you already have: Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Gmail, Apps Script) or Microsoft 365 (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Power Automate). Power BI dashboards may need a Power BI licence.
