What information do I need to start ?
1) The map dimensions are in centimeters, inches, or pixels. 2) A list of all the landmarks. If possible, gather pictures that will help me with the illustration part. 3) Think about a special color palette you like. 4) The map title if needed. For any additional requests, don't hesitate to ask me.
Is it ok if I don’t have any sketch or picture to send you ?
Yes, sure! I have a great tool to share with you « Google my maps » where you create a map with all the landmarks you need. Then, you can share it with a screenshot or the link they give you. You can also send me a simple list of name/address. I will find all information I need on google.
I need my map to be part of a document, is it possible to get it ready to print ?
You may need to include the map in a brochure, a wedding invitation, or a postcard. As a graphic designer, I can deliver you the final layout with additional features (text, frame, bleeds, etc.) ready to print. If you need this service, please reach out so we can discuss your project in detail.
