I usually ask my customers to describe all requirements as much as they can, not using abstract words like "something beautiful", "flawless" e.c., especially when we are working for the first time!

Unfortunately, I did not graduate from Hogwarts and that's impossible for me to read your mind, see your vision, and have your style. Better have some brief with instructions and references. It's going to save your money from extra revisions and what's more important - time for both of us.
