Prerequisites for Setup:
- Personal Facebook Account Logged in from your computer.
- Business Website Required for Business Name Verification.
- Phone Number Not linked with any WhatsApp, capable of receiving OTP via SMS/call to authenticate you are the owner of the Phone Number.
- (Optional) Payment Method & Tax Info Required for outbound messaging. Meta charges based on number of outbound messages sent monthly.

Like explained above, 100 MB is FREE. If you need more space, it will cost $29 per month for 1GB of storage space, also you get unlimited WhatsApp channels, WebChat channels, AI Bots, etc.
➜ What are the Meta/WhatsApp charges?
If customer messages first, next up to 24hr you can send unlimited number of messages without any charges. Outside 24hr window if you like to send outbound message to customer then Meta will charge for the same. Refer “Rate Cards” section https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/pricing/
➜ How can I make Meta/WhatsApp charges low?
If you can make template message sounding like, on customer request it is sent, for example, 'Thank you for enquiry, here are the details…' or 'Thanks for registering to….' then it can get approved under Utility type, that will cost less. If message is sounding like promotional it will cost more.
