I will restore old vhs and camcorder videos naturally

About this gig
Bring your old digital memories back to a clean, natural viewing experience without fake AI detail.
Old VHS and camcorder footage can look worse on modern screens because of interlacing, stretched geometry and poor scaling.
I professionally restore already-digitized VHS, MiniDV, DV and other legacy SD video using a conservative, fidelity-first workflow designed to preserve the original character of your footage.
What I improve:
- Correct deinterlacing when required
- Correct 4:3 or 16:9 geometry
- Clean natural 2x restoration and scaling
- Modern high-quality MP4 delivery
- Audio preserved whenever possible
- Technical checks and human quality control
Ideal for family videos, old camcorder recordings, digitized VHS and archive footage.
I do not invent faces or missing detail, colorize footage, or promise unrealistic crystal clear 4K results.
Physical tape digitization is not included. Please provide an already-digitized video file.
Heavily damaged, unusual or mixed-format footage should be reviewed before ordering.
Processing is performed locally on my own hardware in Switzerland.
Not sure whether your footage is suitable? Message me with the video details before ordering.

FAQ
Can you restore VHS videos?
Yes, if the VHS footage has already been digitized into a video file. This service is designed for digitized VHS, MiniDV, DV, camcorder and similar legacy SD footage.
Do you digitize physical VHS, MiniDV or other tapes?
No. I do not accept or digitize physical tapes. Please provide an already digitized video file.
Can you turn my old video into 4K?
This service uses natural 2x scaling rather than promising artificial 4K detail. Upscaling can improve presentation and compatibility with modern screens, but it cannot recreate real detail that was never captured.
Will my 4:3 video stay 4:3?
Yes. The intended aspect ratio is preserved whenever it can be determined reliably. Old 4:3 footage will not simply be stretched to fill a 16:9 frame.
What happens to the audio?
The existing audio is preserved whenever technically possible and may be converted to a compatible format if required. Professional audio restoration or sound repair is not included.
What if my video is heavily damaged?
Please contact me before ordering. Severe tracking errors, major dropouts, damaged tape signals or unusual video structures may not be suitable for the standard restoration packages.
What if my source video is longer than the package I ordered?
Only the purchased running time will be restored. If your source file is longer, please tell me the exact section you would like processed.
Is my video processed locally?
Yes. The restoration itself is processed locally on my own hardware in Switzerland. File transfer through Fiverr or another agreed transfer service is separate from the local processing.
