I offer narrative editing for Italian short stories, novels, novellas, memoir-style texts and creative manuscripts.
My work starts from the language level: grammar, syntax, punctuation, repetitions, sentence flow, clarity and readability. I then focus on the narrative level, helping you improve rhythm, scene effectiveness, dialogue, internal coherence, character development, emotional impact and plot progression.
I do not rewrite the text from scratch and I do not replace the authors voice. My goal is to help you make the manuscript clearer, stronger and more engaging while respecting your original style, tone and creative intention.
Depending on the selected package, I can provide direct corrections, comments, suggestions and an editing summary report with observations on the main strengths and weaknesses of the text.

Yes. Depending on the package, I can provide comments and suggestions about plot, structure, scenes, characters, dialogue, rhythm and emotional impact.
Is proofreading included?
Yes. Proofreading is included together with narrative editing. I check grammar, punctuation, syntax, repetitions, readability and formal consistency.
Is a summary report included?
Yes, if selected in the package. The report includes observations on the main strengths of the text and the aspects that could be improved.
Is this service for Italian texts?
Yes. This service is for texts written in Italian, although the Gig page is written in English according to Fiverr’s requirements.
Do you format the book for publishing?
No. This Gig does not include book formatting, EPUB, PDF, cover design or publishing support. It is focused only on narrative editing and proofreading. I offer a separate service for book formatting and file preparation.
