What game content can you localize?
I can localize game UI, menus, dialogue, quests, tutorials, item descriptions, achievements, store pages, patch notes, and other player-facing content into natural Simplified Chinese.
Which game localization file formats do you accept?
I accept Excel, CSV, JSON, XML, TXT, Word, and similar exported localization files. For code-heavy or engine-specific files, please contact me before ordering so I can review the structure.
Can you preserve placeholders, variables, tags, and character limits?
Yes. I can preserve elements such as {player_name}, %s, HTML tags, line breaks, IDs, and other variables. Please provide character limits, prohibited terms, or formatting instructions before the project begins.
Do you use machine translation?
I do not deliver raw machine translation. I may use professional translation tools for terminology management and quality checks, but every delivery is carefully reviewed and adapted for context, tone, and Chinese users.
Can you translate directly inside Shopify?
By default, I work with exported Shopify CSV files or text provided by the buyer. Direct localization inside a Shopify store may be available through a custom offer, so please contact me before ordering.
Can you adapt marketing copy instead of translating it literally?
Yes. I can adapt product descriptions, calls to action, store pages, and marketing copy to sound natural and persuasive in Simplified Chinese while preserving the original message and brand tone.
What information do you need before starting?
Please provide the source file, word count, target audience, preferred tone, screenshots or context, and any glossary or style guide. For games and software, please also explain variables, character limits, and where each string appears.
Do you provide Traditional Chinese?
