I develop XSL transformation scripts to generate PDF documents or books from XML files, using Apache FOP or AntennaHouse XSL Formatter as rendering engines. The advantage of creating PDF documents from XML is that you can produce different PDF layouts from the same source data, allowing you to maintain the input data once.

Depending on your order, you have multiple possibilities for your documents, including title pages, tables of contents, running headers (e.g., repeating the current chapter title on every page), lists, tables, images, and many more possibilities.

I develop XSL scripts in a very well-structured and, of course, very well-documented manner. By closely coordinating your needs, these scripts are modular so that you can make adjustments even after the project has been successfully completed. If subsequent adjustments are required, the effort on my part is minimal.
