Is this proofreading or copy editing?
No. This is beta reading and developmental feedback focused on the reader experience, plot, pacing, characters, clarity and emotional impact. I may mention noticeable errors, but I will not correct every spelling, grammar or sentence-level issue.
Can I send part of a novel rather than the full manuscript?
Yes. You can send an opening chapter, several connected chapters, a novella or another extract within the package word limit. Please include a short summary of the wider story so I understand the intended context.
What file types do you accept?
Microsoft Word documents are preferred, especially when manuscript comments are included. I can also accept readable PDFs. Please contact me before ordering if your work is in another format.
Will my manuscript remain private?
Yes. Your manuscript and story information will be treated as confidential and used only to complete your order. I will not publish, share or reuse your material.
What does a revision include?
A revision covers clarification or correction of my feedback based on the original manuscript and brief. It does not include beta reading a newly rewritten version or reassessing major changes made after delivery.
Should I contact you before ordering?
Please contact me first if your manuscript exceeds the listed word count, contains several separate documents, or requires attention to a very specific issue. This helps me confirm the right package and delivery time.
