About this Gig
Need accurate concrete and rebar quantities before you bid? I'm a civil engineer who reads structural drawings and turns them into clean takeoffs you can check line by line.
What I take off:
- Footings, foundations, grade beams and piers
- Slab on grade, elevated slabs, walls and columns
- Rebar by bar size, length and weight, including laps
- Formwork, vapor barrier, mesh and anchor bolts
- Masonry, framing and other trades on request
What you get:
- Excel takeoff organized by drawing sheet and CSI division
- Color-coded marked-up plans (PDF) to verify every item
- Material and labor cost estimate (Standard and Premium)
- Quantities in CY, tons, SF and LF, or metric units
Tools: PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and Excel.
For residential, commercial and industrial projects, in imperial or metric units.
Before ordering, send your plans (PDF or DWG), the scope you want priced and your bid date. I'll confirm the price and delivery time quickly.

FAQ
What files do you need from me?
Construction drawings as PDF or DWG (structural sheets at minimum), specs if you have them, the scope to price and your bid due date.
Do you include material and labor prices?
Basic is quantities only. Standard and Premium include material and labor costs using your unit prices or current market rates for your location.
How can I check your quantities?
Every item is color-coded on the marked-up PDF and matches a line in the Excel sheet, so you can verify any number in minutes.
Do you work in imperial or metric units?
Both. US projects in CY, tons, SF and LF; UK, Middle East and Asia projects in m3, kg and m2.
Can you take off other trades?
Yes: masonry, framing, drywall, finishes and site work areas. Send me the trade list and plans and I'll send a custom offer.
