I will build a custom python web scraping or automation script

About this gig
I write small, focused Python scripts that do one job reliably: pull data from a website, clean up files, merge spreadsheets, or automate a task you repeat every day.
What makes my delivery different: you get a report, not just an output file. Every row I drop or change is listed with its line number and the exact reason, such as invalid date format, duplicate of line 412, or missing field. Nothing disappears silently, so you can verify the result instead of trusting it.
What you get:
A working Python script with clear comments.
Output in the format you need: CSV, JSON or Excel.
A change report with counts grouped by reason.
Error handling and logging so you can see what happened when it runs.
A short README with setup steps and how to schedule it.
Good fits: merging and reformatting data, cleaning and deduplicating lists, scraping static or paginated public pages, bulk file renaming, scheduled reports.
Please note: I do not bypass CAPTCHAs, logins, paywalls or anti-bot protection, and I do not scrape sites whose terms forbid it. Send me the URL or a data sample before ordering and I will tell you honestly if it is doable.

FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
A sample of your data (a few rows is enough) and one sentence about what the output should look like. That is usually all it takes.
Can you scrape any website?
No. I do not bypass CAPTCHAs, logins, paywalls or anti-bot protection, and I do not scrape sites whose terms forbid it. Send me the URL before ordering and I will tell you if it is doable.
What happens to broken or duplicate rows in my data?
Nothing is silently dropped. Every removed row is listed with its line number and the reason, plus a count per reason at the top of the report.
Do I need to know Python to run it?
No. The README has step-by-step setup, and the Premium package includes scheduling setup so it runs on its own.
Will it still work in six months?
For file-based work, yes. For scraping, sites change their layout - if the source changes the script may need an update. I will tell you upfront how fragile a given source looks.
