About this gig
Have an idea for a whimsical character? Need help bringing it to life? Working in Illustrator and Photoshop, I bring your whimsical ideas to life. My style is perfect for children's books as well as chapter books, simple logos, and animal art.
I reserve the right to use every piece created in my portfolio unless otherwise discussed.
Included in the basic gig is the creation of one original character on a blank backdrop. The Fancy and Extra Fancy options are for the creation of backgrounds and additional characters. Limited commercial rights are included as long as the art is attributed to the artist.
1ST TIME CLIENTS SHOULD MESSAGE ME BEFORE ORDERING. I often create custom gigs for multipage projects. We would need to discuss for me to give you an accurate quote.

I am a writer and illustrator. I have an Associates Degree in Art. I minored in English Lit and have been writing fiction for the last ten years. I use Illustrator almost exclusively for eBook covers but I am also extremely comfortable in Photoshop.
My favorite thing is to write fiction. But I can write blog posts and web content easily.

Do you format books for KDP(Kindle)
I work to create the images. Layout and Formatting for books would have to be discussed and would incur additional charges. Please contact me before ordering a gig, so we can discuss your specific needs and how we can meet them together.
Are there discounts for the creation of an entire book?
Yes. In creating an entire book, I will sometimes throw in extras. It depends on the scope of the project. Please discuss the scope of the book with me for more information.
How does the process work?
Once the project begins, you will receive thumbnail sketches. These sketches are for composition. After approval, I will create the first image. You will get a chance to take a look. The image will go through revisions. Then we will move to the second image and repeat the process.
